This book is awesome. I love Elisa so much! She is a very unique heroine since she is over weight and pretty hopeless at the beginning of this tale. Elisa is a very special girl, born with a 'god stone' in her naval that marks her as someone who is destine to accomplish and extrodinary, super-natural task! She is 'god' fearing, and delightful and a little plump, but she earns her stripes as the story progresses.
The only thing that was so gripping to me was the love story between her and Humberto...I just didn't have me completely. However, when their love ended, so-to-speak, it did have an impact on me and was beautifully portrayed in this story.
The ending was quite lovely and I really grew fond of Elisa. This is going to be one of my favorite series!
